A fire in the port of Taganrog has been extinguished.

A fire following a drone attack has been extinguished at the port of Taganrog, and no fuel oil leak has been detected. A man and woman injured in the attack have been taken to the hospital.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," last night two people were injured when a drone struck a private home in Taganrog, and a tanker, a fuel tank, and an administrative building caught fire at the port, Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar reported. According to him, drones were also destroyed in the Chertkovsky, Matveyevo-Kurgansky, and Neklinovsky districts.

According to updated information from the governor, "almost fifty UAVs" were destroyed in the Rostov Region overnight and this morning. "In addition to Taganrog, the Chertkovsky, Matveyevo-Kurgan, and Neklinovsky districts, the cities of Rostov-on-Don, Salsk, and four other districts—Millerovsky, Tarasovsky, Sholokhovsky, and Verkhnedonskoy—were attacked," the publication stated.

In Salsk, according to him, the glazing of a balcony in an apartment building and an unused warehouse were damaged.

The injured man and woman in Taganrog were taken to the hospital. "Doctors assess the patient's condition as moderate," Slyusar reported.

The Rostov Region has a ban on filming aerial attacks and their aftermath, air defense operations, and military unit locations. The corresponding governor's decree was published on the "Caucasian Knot."

As a reminder, Taganrog, in the western district of which the Beriev Aircraft Plant (Taganrog Aviation Complex) is located, is regularly subject to aerial attacks. On April 19, three people were injured in a drone attack, and the aircraft plant and park were cordoned off. Telegram users then called for the plant to be evacuated outside the city limits for the safety of residents.
