As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," a missile was destroyed in Taganrog on the morning of May 27. Two women were taken to the hospital, and doctors described one of them as being in serious condition. Authorities declared a local state of emergency.

"During the repulsion of an air attack on the Rostov Region last night, drones were destroyed in the city of Taganrog, Chertkovsky, Matveyevo-Kurgansky, and Neklinovsky districts," he wrote.
According to the governor, a tanker and a fuel tank caught fire in the port of Taganrog as a result of the attack and an administrative building. "According to preliminary information, there are no casualties," Slyusar reported.
In the village of Grekovo-Timofeyevka in the Matveyevo-Kurgan District, a gas pipe in a house caught fire "as a result of falling UAV debris," damaging the roof and windows. "There are no casualties. People have been evacuated. Emergency services are working at the scene," the official wrote.

In the Rostov Region, a ban is in effect on filming aerial attacks and their aftermath, air defense operations, and military units. The "Caucasian Knot" published the corresponding governor's decree.
