Restrictions on registration of houses located in the DOSAAF microdistrict in Makhachkala have been lifted following a meeting between the mayor and residents.

As reported by "Kavkazsky Uzel," on May 11, residents of the DOSAAF microdistrict in Makhachkala held a meeting to appeal to republican and federal authorities regarding the seizure of their houses and land. According to them, the property of more than 500 families was seized due to a legal dispute between a Moscow company and a local businessman who purchased a plot of land from it. On May 12, representatives of the Dagestani authorities and the mayor of Makhachkala met with residents of the neighborhood, and they promised that the residents would not be deprived of their homes.

Makhachkala authorities reported on May 18 that the situation with the seizure of houses in the DOSAAF neighborhood had been resolved, Kommersant reports.

Deputy Mayor of Makhachkala and Chief of Staff of the Administration Arsen Aidiev told the publication that after the mayor's meeting with residents of the neighborhood and the management of the Baiter company, "the restrictions were lifted."

Makhachkala Mayor Dzhambulat Salavov announced the lifting of the restrictions on his Telegram channel. He recalled that "due to the legal dispute, about 500 households were seized." However, he met with residents and the management of Baiter, after which "all restrictions were lifted."
