Chechnya reportedly expelled a participant in the beating of women from the Akhmat club.

MMA fighter Jihad Yunusov, who beat up two neighbors over a domestic dispute, has been expelled from the Akhmat club. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on the investigation. Chechen authorities have responded much more harshly to incidents of insulting women from Kadyrov's families and those close to him, the blogger noted.

Today, Chechen police reported conducting an investigation into the assault of two women after a video of a conflict in the entrance of an apartment building was distributed on social media.

"The OP No. 1 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Grozny received a report of assault on citizens Lorsanova and Dagayeva. This material was registered by the Internal Security Department No. 1 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Grozny. An investigation is being conducted, based on the results of which a legal decision will be made," Chechnya Segodnya quotes the deputy head of Police Department No. 1 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Grozny Sayd-Akhmed Arsunukayev.

Mixed martial artist Jihad Yunusov has been expelled from the republican fight club "Akhmat", the club announced.

The decision was made on the instructions of Deputy Chairman of the Chechen Republic Government and Minister of the Chechen Republic for Physical Culture and Sports Akhmat Kadyrov.

"Due to unacceptable behavior that does not correspond to the moral, spiritual, and ethical standards of the Republican Fight Club 'Akhmat,' mixed martial artist Jihad Yunusov has been expelled from the club," the Grozny State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company reported.

Deputy Chairman of the Chechen Republic Government and Minister of the Chechen Republic for National Policy, External Relations, Press, and Information Akhmed Dudayev emphasized that violence against women is unacceptable in the region. "In the republic, women are protected by law, religious norms, and the traditions of the peoples of the republic. This incident will certainly receive a legal assessment, and the perpetrator will receive the punishment he deserves," Grozny Inform quotes him as saying.

The beating was preceded by an altercation between neighbors

The conflict was caused by a domestic dispute over the installation of a video camera outside the woman's apartment - the fighter didn't like that the camera's view also covered his door, according to the Instagram* public page "ChP Grozny."

According to the video posted by "Sapa Kavkaz," the conflict began after the elderly woman left the apartment and was met by Yunusov and another man. After a heated discussion, the situation quickly escalated - the fighter splashed a drink he was holding in the woman's face and then hit her several times, including with the door. The second man tried to pull him aside. but to no avail. The fighter also beat the second woman, who ran out of the apartment. Women's screams were heard on the video.

The authorities' response to the incident is incomparable to their response to insults against women from Kadyrov's entourage.

Blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov (listed as a foreign agent) noted that in the case of insults against women from Kadyrov's family and those close to the head of Chechnya, the reaction was far harsher than a background check and expulsion from the club.

"I'm trying to remember the last time we witnessed such a harsh response from the system—and I don't recall anything like this. I remember how, for insulting Adam Delimkhanov's mother, Salman Tepsurkayev was first publicly humiliated (put on a bottle), and then killed in Chechnya. "I remember how Mamikhan Umarov (Anzor Vena) was killed in the Austrian capital for insulting Kadyrov's mother and women from his family. I don't recall the specific words that led to it, but I clearly remember the murder of Imran Aliyev (Mansur the Old) in Lille, France. And now, just the beating of a Chechen woman, and suddenly such unprecedented severity: a police investigation and expulsion from the Akhmat club," he commented.

As a reminder, Salman Tepsurkayev, the moderator of a Telegram channel opposed to the Chechen authorities, was impaled on a bottle on video. Tepsurkayev stated on the video that he was punished for "writing [offensive] poems about other people's mothers and sisters, saying they were prostitutes." According to human rights activists, he was subsequently killed. More details about Tepsurkaev's experience are available in the "Caucasian Knot" reference material.

Chechnya native Mamikhan Umarov, known as "Anzor from Vienna," was shot dead on July 4 in Gerasdorf, near Vienna. In his YouTube videos, he not only criticized but also directly insulted Ramzan Kadyrov and his parents. The murder of Imran Aliyev, who used extensive obscene language against the Chechen authorities in his videos, is described in the reference "Murders of Kadyrov's Critics in the European Union."
