A drone attack was recorded in Kuban.
The Ministry of Defense reported downing drones in the Krasnodar Territory and over the Azov and Black Seas.
As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," last night, the military shot down drones in Taganrog, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, and two districts of the Rostov Region. According to the governor, there were no injuries.
From 8:00 PM Moscow time on May 15 to 7:00 AM Moscow time, air defense alert systems intercepted and destroyed 138 Ukrainian drones in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov, Oryol, Tula, Kaluga, Lipetsk, Moscow, Ryazan, Smolensk, and Tver regions, in the Krasnodar Territory, Crimea, and over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel. The agency did not specify how many drones were shot down in each region.
The Kuban operational headquarters reposted this publication on its Telegram channel, without providing details about the air attack and its consequences.
In September 2025, the Krasnodar Krai imposed a ban on the dissemination of information about drone attacks and their consequences, as well as on filming air defense operations, military installations, and critical infrastructure. In December 2025, Kuban authorities introduced fines for filming air attacks and air defense operations. The "Caucasian Knot" has published a corresponding regional legislative assembly bill.
As a reminder, on May 13, a drone attack was recorded in the village of Volna in the Temryuk District. A fire broke out at a plant there, injuring one person. A person injured in a drone attack in Taman also required medical attention.
From April 16 to May 1, four fires broke out at an oil refinery and a marine terminal in Tuapse following drone attacks.
