The number of injured in the drone attack in Kuban has increased.

A man injured in a drone attack in Taman required medical assistance. The number of people injured as a result of new drone strikes in the Krasnodar Krai has risen to two.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," a drone attack was recorded last night in the village of Volna in the Temryuk district of Kuban. A fire broke out at a business there, and one person was injured.

A second victim required medical assistance.

UAV wreckage was found at several addresses in the village of Taman, the Kuban emergency response headquarters reported on its Telegram channel.

Necessary medical assistance was provided at the scene.

"One person was injured and received necessary medical assistance at the scene without hospitalization," the publication states.

At one address, "drone debris" fell near a private home, where windows were shattered. "The second fire was directed to the summer kitchen. The glass and doors of this building were also damaged. Emergency and special services are working on the scene in all cases," the publication states.

Fire in the village of Volna continues

Fire suppression efforts continue in the village of Volna "on the territory of one of the enterprises," regional authorities also reported.

"96 people and 29 pieces of equipment are involved, including employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory," the publication states.

The village of Volna has been repeatedly mentioned in connection with drone attacks. For example, on February 17, an oil tank caught fire there. It was extinguished only the following day. On February 15, two fires also broke out in the village of Volna after an aerial attack. One of them was extinguished that same evening, the other the following day.

As a reminder, a private home and wind turbine installations were damaged in drone attacks in two districts of the Rostov Region last night and this morning, and household utilities were damaged in Rostov-on-Don. A fire broke out at the Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant, which produces fuel and gas, as a result of a drone attack ..

From April 16 to May 1, four fires broke out at an oil refinery and a marine terminal in Tuapse following drone attacks. Furthermore, on April 24, after booms were breached due to rising river water levels, an oil spill occurred into the Black Sea. The environmental consequences of the attacks on Tuapse's oil infrastructure can be found in the "Caucasian Knot" report "Fires and "Oil Rain": Key Information on the Ecological Disaster in Tuapse".

In September 2025, the Krasnodar Krai banned the dissemination of information about drone attacks and their consequences, as well as the filming of air defense operations, military installations, and critical infrastructure. In December 2025, Kuban authorities introduced fines for filming aerial attacks and air defense operations. The "Caucasian Knot" published a corresponding regional legislative assembly bill.

In other regions of the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts, filming drone attacks and their consequences is also prohibited. These prohibitions contradict the Constitution, which guarantees the inadmissibility of censorship and the freedom to search for, record, and disseminate information, lawyers pointed out.
