Airports in southern Russia have resumed operations.

Airports in Astrakhan, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Gelendzhik, Grozny, Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Magas, Mineralnye Vody, Nalchik, Sochi, Stavropol, and Elista are ready to handle flights, the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) reported.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," operations at 13 airports were suspended this morning after a drone struck the regional air traffic control center in Rostov-on-Don.

Rosaviatsia has resumed flights to airports in southern Russia. Airports in Astrakhan, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Gelendzhik, Grozny, Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Magas, Mineralnye Vody, Nalchik, Sochi, Stavropol, and Elista are ready to handle flights, Rosaviatsia reported on its Telegram channel.

By the end of the day, 59 flights from Moscow, as well as 158 flights from other regions, are scheduled to operate to airports in the south of the country, the Russian Ministry of Transport reported.
