A soldier from the Astrakhan region was killed in the SVO zone.

Ilnur Zharknaliev from the Kamyzyak district was killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 737 soldiers from the Astrakhan region have been recognized as killed in it.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by May 6, at least 736 soldiers from the Astrakhan region were officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

The Kamyzyak district administration reported on the unveiling of a memorial desk at the Razdorskaya Guzhvin Secondary School on its VKontakte page.

Ilnur Zharknaliev was born on December 13, 1989, in the village of Zastenka. In 2004, he graduated from the local school, entered the Kamyzyak vocational school, and trained as a carpenter. In 2007, he was drafted into the army, served his military service in Mozdok, and was discharged as a squad commander.

In 2014, he took part in combat operations in Donbas. On April 1, 2022, he volunteered for the special military operation zone. On June 28 of that year, he was killed in the DPR.

Zharknaliev was awarded the medals "For Courage," "For the Capture of Popasnaya," the Order "For Blood and Bravery," and the Order of Courage (posthumously).

Thus, at least 737 soldiers from the Astrakhan Region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

The death of a SVO participant from the Kamyzyak District was previously reported on May 5. Then the authorities reported that Muslim Zhumakhaev was killed in the military operation.
