The threat of an attack by unmanned boats in Tuapse has been cancelled.

The threat of attack by unmanned boats announced this morning in Tuapse has been cancelled.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," this morning the head of the Tuapse District warned residents of the threat of attack by unmanned boats.

The threat of attack has passed, Sergey Boyko, head of the Tuapse District, announced on his Telegram channel at 12:02 p.m. Moscow time. "The threat of unmanned boats has been cancelled!" he wrote. The ability to leave comments under the official's publications has been disabled.

As of 1:50 PM Moscow time, the Kuban task force and the Ministry of Defense have not reported the boat attack on Tuapse on their Telegram channels.

As a reminder, a fire broke out at the Tuapse sea terminal on May 1 after a drone attack. It was extinguished on May 2. This fire is the fourth in Tuapse since April 16.

A series of attacks on Tuapse's oil infrastructure has led to environmental consequences, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Fires and "Oil Rain": Key Information on the Ecological Disaster in Tuapse".

Tuapse has also been attacked by unmanned boats. For example, on September 24, 2025, after a drone and unmanned boat attack on Novorossiysk and Tuapse, two people were killed and 14 others were injured. That day, people in Novorossiysk, Tuapse, Gelendzhik, and Sochi were ordered to leave the beaches, but in Sochi, some vacationers returned to the sea. Social media users called this behavior reckless.

Civilians in the coastal areas of Kuban resorts risk becoming accidental victims in attacks, so the evacuation of vacationers from the beaches was a justified measure, experts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" confirmed.

In September 2025, the Krasnodar Territory banned the dissemination of information about drone attacks and their consequences, as well as the filming of air defense operations, military facilities, and critical infrastructure. In December 2025, Kuban authorities introduced fines for filming aerial attacks and air defense operations. The "Caucasian Knot" published a corresponding bill of the regional legislative assembly.
