A resident of the Volgograd region was injured during a drone attack.

A resident of the Alekseyevsky District of the Volgograd Region was hospitalized with a shrapnel wound to the leg as a result of a drone attack.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on April 25, a drone attack in the Volgograd Region resulted in a fire at an industrial site in the Kotelnikovsky District.

Alerts about the threat of drone attacks in the Volgograd Region have become almost daily, but the actual appearance of UAVs is not always preceded by a warning, local residents previously interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" stated.

A resident of the Volgograd Region was injured during a drone attack in the Alekseyevsky District, the head of the region reported. Andrey Bocharov. According to him, the attack targeted objects in the Alekseyevsky and Olkhovsky districts.

"In the Alekseyevsky district, an attack damaged an individual residential building; a resident was hospitalized with a shrapnel wound to the leg," the regional administration's official Telegram channel quotes Bocharov as saying.

The official added that "no other damage, injuries, or fires were recorded."

A drone alert was declared in the Volgograd region at around 8:30 p.m. Moscow time on April 29. Two hours later, at 10:46 p.m. Moscow time, Rosaviatsiya closed the Volgograd airport to aircraft.

At the time the restrictions were introduced, flights from Kaliningrad and Moscow were delayed at the airport, V1 reports.

As of 4:15 a.m. Moscow time, Volgograd Airport is still not accepting or departing flights. According to the online flight board, morning flights to Moscow and Kazan are delayed, while arrivals from Kaliningrad and Astrakhan are delayed.

The "Caucasian Knot" also reported that on the night of April 10, a drone attack in the Volgograd Region resulted in the death of one person. A drone attack in the Volgograd Region resulted in damage to 13 private homes in the Surovikinsky District, and a tanker carrying oil products caught fire in the Svetloyarsky District.

On February 13, a woman and a teenager were injured in a drone attack in Volgograd. According to authorities, several private and apartment buildings were damaged. Windows in the damaged apartments have not been repaired even a week after the attack, and it's difficult to reach dispatchers, victims complained.
