A Kerch resident was convicted in Rostov-on-Don for inciting terrorism.

A Rostov-on-Don court sentenced a pensioner from Kerch to six years in prison for calling for a drone strike on Red Square during the Victory Day Parade.

The Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced a pensioner from Kerch, finding him guilty of public calls for terrorist activity.

According to investigators, a man born in 1962, who is a pensioner of the State Border Service of Ukraine, published text comments in a Telegram channel calling for drone strikes on Red Square during The Victory Day Parade was held, RIA Novosti reported on April 27.

The court found the pensioner's publications to be calls for terrorist activity (Article 205.2 of the Russian Criminal Code) and sentenced him to six years' imprisonment in a general regime penal colony.

Previously, "Caucasian Knot" reported that on April 14, a court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced a Makeyevka resident to eight years in prison for calls for the bombing of Russian regions and violence against Russian citizens.
