Traffic on the Makhachkala bypass through the village of Talgi is closed due to road destruction.
The closure of the Makhachkala bypass due to road destruction was announced today by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Dagestan on its Telegram channel.
The department reported that, starting at 9:00 PM Moscow time on April 18, "the destruction of the road surface with the formation of numerous longitudinal and transverse cracks, subsidence, and fractures in the roadway" occurred at the 10th kilometer of the republican highway "Bypass of the city of Makhachkala through the village of Talgi."
Measures are being taken to correct the defect, and traffic will be restored after repairs are completed. The report does not mention the causes of the roadway destruction.
