A fighter from the Volgograd region was killed in Ukraine.

Mikhail Kovalenko from the Rudnyansky district was killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 1,742 soldiers from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in it.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by April 5, at least 1,741 soldiers from the Volgograd region had been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

Mikhail Kovalenko was killed in the military operation, and his daughter received the Zhukov Medal, the Rudnyansky District Administration reported on its Telegram channel on April 10.

Details of the soldier's biography and death were not provided in the publication.

Thus, at least 1,742 soldiers from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

The death of a soldier from the Rudnyansky district was previously reported on March 6. Then the authorities reported that Vasily Krasinsky had been killed in the military operation.
