Four people were killed in a mine explosion in the Rostov region.

One person was killed and three were injured in a mine explosion in the Krasnosulinsky District of the Rostov Region. The incident is being investigated for violation of industrial safety regulations.

The mine explosion occurred today, April 10, during loading operations at the face of the assembly chamber.

One worker was killed and three were injured as a result of the incident. The injured are receiving medical assistance, the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Rostov Region reported today on its Telegram channel.

The regional prosecutor's office, in turn, reported an inspection of the Sherlovskaya-Naklonnaya mine, stating that a rock collapse occurred following the explosion. The prosecutor's office has also taken control of the investigation, Interfax reported.

The case is being investigated under the article on violation of industrial safety requirements at hazardous production facilities, resulting in the death of a person due to negligence. Investigators and forensic experts from the Investigative Department are working at the scene, and investigative and procedural actions are underway.

The Sherlovskaya-Naklonnaya mine in the Rostov region, where the incident occurred, continues to operate as usual, said Yuri Burnyashov, CEO of JSC Donugol. He noted that, according to his information, one miner was killed and one injured.
