A court in Krasnodar nationalized the assets of Vice Governor Minkova.

Property worth over 330 million rubles, registered to former Kuban Vice-Governor Anna Minkova and her relatives, has been seized by the state.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on January 27, security forces conducted an investigative action against former Kuban Deputy Governor Anna Minkova. She was later detained on suspicion of corruption. On January 29, the court placed Minkova under house arrest. On February 13, it was reported that the Russian Prosecutor General's Office filed a lawsuit to seize Minkova's property. On March 24, the Prikubansky District Court of Krasnodar ruled that the case regarding the confiscation of the property of Anna Minkova and affiliated entities should be heard in camera.

On April 8, the Prikubansky District Court of Krasnodar upheld the Prosecutor General's Office's claim, ordering the confiscation of the property of former Kuban Vice Governor Anna Minkova and her relatives. The market value of the assets, which are being forfeited to the state, exceeds 338 million rubles.

These assets concern 21 movable and immovable property that Minkova acquired "while holding a government position" with funds exceeding her family's legal income. The Prosecutor General's Office previously listed these acquisitions as including five land plots, three residential buildings, four apartments, three non-residential premises, and six cars. In addition to the official herself, five of her relatives were named as defendants in the lawsuit.

"In order to conceal her true financial status and avoid the need to declare her sources of income, Minkova acquired and registered assets in the names of close relatives (...) The court concluded that Minkova's assets were the product of her corrupt behavior," the United Press Service of the Kuban Courts reported.

By the start of the trial, Minkova and her relatives had sold some of this property, worth over 90 million rubles. The court ordered the recovery of this amount from them, noting that corrupt assets "are subject to seizure in their entirety, regardless of the portion of the costs of their acquisition that may have been incurred with legitimate income."

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that on April 7, the Leninsky District Court of Krasnodar confiscated the assets of Vice Governor Andrei Korobka and more than 20 of his trusted individuals, totaling over 10 billion rubles. The court also dismissed the arrested official from his post.
