A villager died in a mudslide in Azerbaijan.
Faig Rasulov, a resident of the Azerbaijani village of Gyunduzgala, died as a result of a mudslide. In the Baku village of Keshlya, 58 people were evacuated from the flooded area.

According to authorities, a two-story house in the village of Keshla was illegally built over a collector and was creating problems with rainwater drainage, APA reported on April 5.
The house was demolished on the same day, since, according to experts, it was necessary to urgently dismantle it and restore the collector line to prevent similar incidents in other areas, the agency reports.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, flooding was recorded in the Khazar, Sabunchu, Nizami, Binagadi, Sabail and Garadagh districts of Baku, as well as in the Absheron region of Azerbaijan and on the Baku-Sumgait highway, the agency's website states.
