A South Ossetian soldier was killed in Ukraine.

David Gubayev, killed in the war zone, has been buried in Tskhinvali. At least 49 combatants from South Ossetia were killed in the fighting in Ukraine.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," Soslan Kisiev, killed during the fighting in Ukraine, was buried in South Ossetia on March 26. At least 48 combatants from South Ossetia were killed during the special operation.

David Gubayev, known to his family as "Shirim," who was killed in the war zone in Ukraine, has been buried in Tskhinvali, the press service of the South Ossetian president reported on its website.

Earlier, a civil funeral service for Gubayev was held in Vladikavkaz. David Gubayev was posthumously awarded the medal "For Military Labor in the Name of Peace." He is survived by a minor daughter.

Thus, at least 49 fighters from South Ossetia have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
