The "Carpet" regime was introduced at Vladikavkaz airport amid the threat of UAV attacks.

A "Carpet" alert was introduced at Vladikavkaz Airport on the morning of April 2 amid a drone alert declared in North Ossetia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot," on the night of March 30, Rosaviatsiya announced the suspension of operations at the airports of Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Grozny, and Krasnodar. That morning, the drone alert was lifted, and the military reported downing drones.

The signal to introduce "Carpet" alert was issued today at 9:24 a.m. Moscow time, according to a message from the regional alert system of the Russian Emergency Situations Service, received by a "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. Residents are urged to "remain calm."

On March 2, Vladikavkaz Airport received and dispatched five scheduled flights. The airport's official website currently has no information about flight postponements or delays.

The "Rosaviatsiya Speaks" Telegram channel reports that restrictions at Vladikavkaz Airport were introduced at 8:43 a.m. Moscow time and lifted at 9:00 a.m. Moscow time.

The morning Pobeda Airlines flight, scheduled to arrive from Sheremetyevo, is expected to depart at 11:05 a.m. Moscow time. Flight DP 6905 departed Moscow with a four-minute delay and is currently in the air. At the same time, the departure board at Sheremetyevo Airport reports delays for today's flights to Krasnodar (moved from 6:10 to 7:54 Moscow time), Sochi (from 8:05 to 11:05 Moscow time), Krasnodar (from 8:25 to 8:44 Moscow time), Sochi (from 10:15 to 11:15 Moscow time), as well as Sochi (from 11:15 to 12:20 Moscow time), Mineralnye Vody (from 11:50 to 13:00 Moscow time), Magas (from 11:55 to 12:55 Moscow time), Stavropol (from 1:05 to 13:20 Moscow time), and Volgograd (from 12:25 to 15:20).

A similar situation applies to flights from Vnukovo Airport. Morning flights to Krasnodar (from 6:55 to 11:00, 7:35 to 11:00, and 10:20 to 11:30) and Sochi (from 9:00 to 11:00, and 10:35 to 13:00) were delayed.

Ural Airlines flight U6 1387 from Domodedovo Airport to Vladikavkaz departed with an eight-minute delay at 10:23 Moscow time and is currently in flight. Flights to Krasnodar, Grozny, Volgograd, Sochi, and Makhachkala are also planned with minor schedule changes.

Flights from Pulkovo Airport to Gelendzhik (scheduled for 8:05, departure time unspecified, flight delayed) remain delayed, as do flights to Sochi (scheduled for 8:15, flight delayed), Krasnodar (scheduled for 8:40, flight delayed), Astrakhan (scheduled for 9:45, flight delayed), and Sochi (flights at 10:15 and 10:30, delayed).

Restrictions under the "Carpet" regime are typically introduced when airspace security is threatened and may involve the temporary suspension of flight arrivals and departures.
