Compensation has been paid to more than 100 residents of Adygea who were injured in the drone strike.

The funds in question concern payments to the owners of damaged vehicles. The total amount transferred exceeds 29 million rubles.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on January 21, a drone attack damaged 30 houses in the village of Novaya Adygeya in the Takhtamukaysky District. At least one person died, and 11 people, including two children, were injured. Nine of them were hospitalized.

Adygea authorities have paid over 29 million rubles to the owners of damaged and lost vehicles as a result of a drone attack in the village of Novaya Adygeya in January. "213 vehicles were damaged, 27 of which burned completely. To date, 104 owners of damaged vehicles have already received payments. The total amount transferred exceeds 29 million rubles – funding is provided entirely from the regional budget of Adygea," said Asker Savv, head of the republic's Takhtamukaysky District.

In the event of partial damage to a vehicle, owners will receive up to 500,000 rubles, and in the event of a total loss, up to 1 million rubles. "We expect all payments to be completed in April. Applications are being processed sequentially as the Investigative Committee prepares the missing documents and the victims submit them to the administration," the district head added.

The façade of the worst-damaged building has already been restored, and finishing work is underway in the apartments, Savv added on his Telegram channel.

As a reminder, on the night of March 18, ptwo girls required medical attention after receiving shrapnel wounds during a drone attack in Adygea. Eight private homes were damaged in the attack.
