A South Ossetian soldier was killed in Ukraine.

Vadim Margiev, killed in the SVO, was buried in South Ossetia. At least 47 combatants from South Ossetia were killed in the fighting in Ukraine.

As reported by the Caucasian Knot, Tamerlan Kozaev and Gennady Kokoev, killed during the fighting in Ukraine, were buried in South Ossetia on March 23. At least 46 South Ossetian combatants were killed during the special operation.

Vadim Margiev (call sign Bert), who was killed during the special military operation, was buried in the village of Dmenis today, March 24, the press service of the South Ossetian president reported.

Prime Minister Dzambolat Tadtayev, members of parliament led by Speaker Alan Margiev, Russian Ambassador to the republic Marat Kulakhmetov, and members of the public attended the funeral.

Vadim Margiev was 25 years old. He did not have time to start a family. By decree of the South Ossetian president, Vadim Margiev was posthumously awarded the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal.

Thus, at least 47 South Ossetian fighters have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
