Alternative volunteers freed a Rostov Oblast resident from slavery at a vegetable warehouse in Stavropol Krai.

"Caucasian Knot" wrote that the "Alternative" movement href="https://www.kavkaz-uzel.eu/articles/396145">considers the Rostov Region and Stavropol Krai to be the most problematic regions in southern Russia in terms of labor slavery.

"Recruiters" are looking for potential workers at train stations in large cities. People from the provinces who come here to work are most often the victims of human traffickers, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Slavery in the North Caucasus".

A resident of the Rostov region has been freed from slavery in the Stavropol region, "Don 24" reported on March 21. citing Arina Fairushina, coordinator of the Alternative movement.

The recruiters took advantage of the woman's difficult psychological state, as she wandered the streets in tears due to family drama. They persuaded her to go with them to "work." Ultimately, the Rostov woman was brought to a farm, where she lived for about a month. She was periodically taken to a vegetable warehouse and forced to work. They didn't pay her, intimidated her, and convinced her that if she complained to someone, even the police, the "employers" would come to an agreement. The woman has now returned home.
