Ingushetia's Deputy Minister of Property has been arrested in connection with a major theft case.

The court has placed the Deputy Minister of Property and Land Relations of Ingushetia, suspected of embezzling nearly 580 million rubles as part of a group, in custody for over a month.
The Yessentuki City Court of Stavropol Krai, at the request of an investigator, has placed the Deputy Minister of Property and Land Relations of the Republic of Ingushetia under arrest for a crime under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Russian Criminal Code. .
The joint press service of the Stavropol Krai courts reported the arrest on its Telegram channel. The arrested official is referred to in the publication as "Mr. T."
According to investigators, the aforementioned citizen T., as part of an organized group and in prior conspiracy with the acting head of the financial support center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Ingushetia, the chief accountant of the Sunzhensky District Department of Internal Affairs, the former legal adviser of the Sunzhensky District Department of Internal Affairs, and a number of unidentified individuals, falsified documents from January 2020 to April 2025, on the basis of which they received money in the form of wages, allowances, and other payments, thereby stealing more than 578 million rubles, "causing property damage to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Ingushetia in the specified amount."
The court arrested the official for one month and six days, that is, until April 24 of this year.
