A resident of a Don village has been accused of displaying extremist symbols.

A resident of the village of Yegorlykskaya has been charged with publicly displaying extremist symbols due to tattoos featuring eight-pointed stars.
A criminal case has been opened against the 36-year-old resident of the village under Part 1 of Article 282.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols of extremist organizations).
According to investigators, last year, while in the courtyard of his house, he displayed a tattoo with extremist symbols. He had previously been charged with administrative offences for displaying tattoos of eight-pointed black and white stars. He also had a prior criminal record, 1rnd.ru reported on March 14.
The regional Ministry of Internal Affairs also reported that the man not only displayed the aforementioned symbols but also incited residents of the village to hatred and hostility between different social groups.
Earlier, "Caucasian Knot" reported that on March 11, a court in Buinaksk sentenced a local resident to a suspended sentence for displaying symbols of a banned extremist movement on social media.
