Two houses damaged by drones in Novorossiysk

Two houses and a power line were damaged after a drone attack in Novorossiysk, and a threat of unmanned boat strikes has been issued.

The drone's wreckage fell in the village of Myskhako, Novorossiysk. According to preliminary reports, there are no casualties. Windows in two apartment buildings and a power line were damaged. Emergency services are working at the scene, the Krasnodar Krai task force reported today.

Novorossiysk Mayor Andrei Kravchenko also announced a threat of attack by unmanned boats. "If you are at home, do not approach windows. Take shelter in a room with windows that do not face the sea or in windowless spaces with solid walls (hallway, bathroom, toilet, storage room). Avoid open spaces near the sea," he wrote to residents of the coastal area on his Telegram channel.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot," on September 24, 2025, two people were killed and 14 others were injured after drones and unmanned boats attacked Novorossiysk and Tuapse. That day, people in Novorossiysk, Tuapse, Gelendzhik, and Sochi were ordered to leave the beaches, but in Sochi, some vacationers returned to the sea. Social media users called this behavior reckless.

Civilians in the coastal areas of Kuban resorts risk becoming accidental victims in attacks, so the evacuation of vacationers from the beaches was a justified measure, experts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" confirmed.

In September 2025, the Krasnodar Territory imposed a ban on the dissemination of information about drone attacks and their consequences, as well as on filming air defense operations, military facilities, and critical infrastructure. In December 2025, Kuban authorities introduced fines for filming aerial attacks and air defense operations. The "Caucasian Knot" published a corresponding regional legislative assembly bill.

In other regions of the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts, filming drone attacks and their consequences is also prohibited. These prohibitions contradict the Constitution, which guarantees the inadmissibility of censorship and the freedom to search, record, and disseminate information, lawyers pointed out.
