Two soldiers from the Astrakhan region were killed in combat.

Mobilized soldier Maxim Gulin and contract soldier Aslan Sisingaliev from the Volodarsky District were killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 714 soldiers from the Astrakhan Region have been recognized as killed in it.

In the Volodarsky District, a farewell ceremony was held for Maxim Gulin and Aslan Sisingaliev, who were killed in the military operation, the district administration reported on its Telegram channel on February 28.

Maxim Gulin was born in 1991. On October 19, 2022, he was mobilized and sent to the military operation zone, where he died on February 9, 2026, the publication notes.

On September 21, 2022, Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization. On October 28 of that year, the Minister of Defense reported to the President on its completion, but no corresponding decree followed. Aslan Sisingaliev, born in 1988, signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense on August 10, 2025, and was sent to the military operation zone. "He was listed as missing in action on September 11, 2025. It was subsequently determined that Aslan Amangeldyevich Sissingaliev [...] died while on a combat mission," district authorities reported.

Thus, at least 714 fighters from the Astrakhan region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

The last death of a SVO member from the Volodarsky district was reported on February 21. Then the authorities reported that Azat Turakov and Anuarbek Nurgaliev were killed in the military operation.
