A drone attack occurred in the Rostov region.
Military forces shot down a drone in the Kasharsky District of the Rostov Region. According to the governor, there are no injuries.
As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the night of February 24, drones were destroyed in the Kamensky and Neklinovsky Districts of the Rostov Region. There were no injuries or damage, Governor Yuri Slyusar reported.
Last night, military forces destroyed a UAV in the Kasharsky District, Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel at 5:49 a.m. Moscow time. "There have been no reports of casualties or damage on the ground," he added.
As of 6:55 a.m. Moscow time, the Ministry of Defense had not reported the drone attack on its Telegram channel.
As a reminder, on January 14, an aerial attack in Rostov-on-Don caused fires in homes and an industrial facility. One person was killed and four, including a four-year-old child, were hospitalized. That day, the military reported shooting down 25 drones in the region.
On January 13, a woman was killed in an attack in Taganrog . Eight residential buildings, two industrial facilities, and six cars were also damaged. Authorities promised assistance to all victims.
Car damage has repeatedly appeared in reports on the consequences of drone attacks in the Rostov Region, but compensation for it was not provided until December 2025. Only after a Taganrog resident who lost his car asked about payments during a direct line with the governor did authorities establish a compensation procedure for car owners. The resolution provides for a payment of up to 500,000 rubles per damaged vehicle and up to a million rubles per destroyed vehicle.
In the Rostov Region, there is a ban on filming aerial attacks and their aftermath, air defense operations, and military units. The "Caucasian Knot" published a corresponding governor's decree.
In August 2025, two people in the Rostov region were fined for filming the aftermath of drone attacks.
