Drone attacks occurred in four districts of the Rostov region.

The military shot down drones in the Chertkovsky, Sholokhovsky, Millerovsky, and Belokalitvinsky districts. According to the governor, there are no injuries.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the night of February 21, an airstrike occurred in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky and five districts of the Rostov Region: Kamensky, Kasharsky, Sholokhovsky, Bokovsky, and Chertkovsky. There were no reports of casualties or damage, Governor Yuri Slyusar reported. According to the Ministry of Defense, nine drones were shot down in the region.

Last night, while repelling an airstrike, drones were destroyed in four districts – Chertkovsky, Sholokhovsky, Millerovsky, and Belokalitvinsky, Yuri Slyusar reported.

"No information about casualties or damage on the ground has been received," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

As a reminder, on January 14, an airstrike in Rostov-on-Don caused fires in homes and an industrial facility. One person was killed and four, including a four-year-old child, were hospitalized. That day, the military reported 25 drones shot down in the region.

On January 13, a woman was killed in an attack in Taganrog . Eight residential buildings, two industrial facilities, and six cars were also damaged. Authorities promised assistance to all victims.

Damaged vehicles have repeatedly featured in reports on the consequences of drone attacks in the Rostov Region, but compensation for them was not provided until December 2025. Only after a Taganrog resident who lost his car asked about payments during a direct line with the governor did authorities establish a compensation procedure for car owners. The decree provides for a payment of up to 500,000 rubles for a damaged vehicle and up to a million for a destroyed one.

In the Rostov Region, a ban is in effect on filming air attacks and their aftermath, air defense operations, and military unit locations. The corresponding governor's decree was published on the "Caucasian Knot."

In August 2025, two people in the Rostov Region were fined for filming the aftermath of drone attacks.
