The name of the North Ossetian soldier killed in Ukraine has been released.

Feder Pletnev from the Mozdok region was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have officially acknowledged at least 546 servicemen from North Ossetia killed there.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by February 20, at least 545 fighters from North Ossetia had been officially acknowledged as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

At least 4,229 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4,373 from the Southern Federal District have been recognized by authorities and security forces as killed during the military operation in Ukraine.

Feder Pletnev, a resident of the Mozdok district, born in 1990, was killed in the combat zone in Ukraine. Pletnev's funeral will take place on February 21 in Mozdok, the district administration announced on its Telegram channel.

Details of the soldier's biography and death were not provided in the publication.

Thus, at least 546 soldiers from North Ossetia have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

The last time a death in the North Ossetian military district was reported was on February 14. That day, the administration announced that Batyr Ashrakayev and Timur Lukozhev were killed in the military operation.

"Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation.
