A pensioner from Novorossiysk has been accused of treason.

Investigators believe a 64-year-old woman collected and transmitted information to the Ukrainian side about military facilities in Novorossiysk, Sochi, and Sevastopol.

The Deputy Prosecutor of the Krasnodar Territory approved the indictment in a criminal case against a 64-year-old resident of Novorossiysk, who is accused of treason.

According to investigators, the 64-year-old pensioner, from February 2024, while in the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea, carried out tasks for a representative of a Ukrainian organization controlled by the SBU for monetary compensation. Specifically, she collected and transmitted information about Russian Armed Forces facilities located in Novorossiysk, Sochi, and Sevastopol, the press service of the Krasnodar Territory Prosecutor's Office reported today on its Telegram channel.

The criminal case has been sent to the Krasnodar Regional Court for consideration on the merits. The punishment for this type of crime is imprisonment for a term of twelve to twenty years, or life imprisonment, the department's press service clarified.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that Kuban pensioners Nikolai Nabiev, Sergei Kuzovenko, and Marina Zakharova were accused of creating an armed group and possessing weapons. According to the source, the case was fabricated and built "solely on provocations" by FSB officers, who purchased alcoholic beverages and filmed the two pensioners during drinking parties over the course of a year. The group of three pensioners does not meet the definition of an illegal armed group, the lawyers interviewed noted.
