A drone attack caused a fire at the Ilsky Oil Refinery. A tank containing petroleum products also caught fire in the village of Volna in the Temryuk District.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," last night in the village of Ilsky in the Seversky District of Kuban, two people were injured in a drone attack and hospitalized. Four private homes were also damaged.

Last night, drones were also destroyed in the Azovsky District of the Rostov Region and in the Taganrog Bay of the Sea of ​​Azov. There were no reports of casualties or damage, Governor Yuri Slyusar reported.

Last night, air defense systems on duty destroyed and intercepted 151 Ukrainian drones, including 18 in the Krasnodar Territory and 29 over the Sea of ​​Azov, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel.

According to the publication, another 50 drones were shot down over the Black Sea, the rest in Crimea, Kaluga, Bryansk, and Kursk regions.

"There were no casualties. The fire covered an area of ​​1,250 square meters. 67 people and 19 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire," the statement added.

On February 15, two fires, totaling 2,200 square meters, also broke out in the village of Volna after an aerial attack. One of them was extinguished that same evening, the other - the next day.

As a reminder, residents of the villages of Afipsky and Ilsky in the Seversky district of Kuban, where oil refineries are located, regularly suffer from drone attacks. For example, on December 14, 2025, authorities reported that during a drone attack, "UAV debris" damaged five private homes in the village of Afipsky. On December 1, a drone attack damaged 19 houses and a cell phone tower in the village of Ilsky.

The oil refineries themselves have also been repeatedly attacked by drones. In particular, on November 29, 2025, an aerial attack caused a fire at the refinery in the village of Afipsky, and workers were evacuated. The fire was extinguished the same day. on September 7, 2025, equipment at the Ilsky Oil Refinery caught fire as a result of an attack. Authorities reported the fire had been quickly extinguished.

In September 2025, the Krasnodar Territory banned the dissemination of information about drone attacks and their consequences, as well as the filming of air defense systems, military installations, and critical infrastructure. In December 2025, Kuban authorities introduced fines for filming aerial attacks and air defense systems. A corresponding bill of the regional legislative assembly was published on the "Caucasian Knot."
