The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has filed a lawsuit to seize the property of Krasnodar City Duma deputy Viktor Timofeev for state benefit.
The Krasnodar Krai Prosecutor General's Office's lawsuit to seize Timofeev's property will be heard by the Leninsky District Court of Krasnodar.
Three other individuals, including Timofeev's two daughters, are also named as defendants in the case. The third parties are three companies specializing in vehicle maintenance and repair, cargo handling, and providing automobile transport and shipping services, Kommersant reported on February 15.
The Krasnodar administration website states that Timofeev currently manages "one of the largest transport companies in the region," which employs more than 300 people.
