A resident of the Rostov region is suspected of transferring money to an extremist organization.

A resident of the Rostov Region has become a defendant in a criminal case on the financing of extremist activity; she is under house arrest.

According to investigators, the Rostov Region resident, sharing the ideas of one of the organizations designated as extremist by the Moscow City Court on June 9, 2021, transferred money to the organization between August 2021 and January 2022.

During this period, she transferred a total of nine thousand rubles, 1rnd.ru reported on February 14.

The suspect is currently under house arrest. If found guilty, she faces three to eight years in prison.

Previously, "Caucasian Knot" reported that in early February, the Belorechensky District Court sentenced Ksenia Belova, a native of the Chelyabinsk region, to one year and six months in prison, having been found guilty of financing the activities of an organization banned in Russia.
