The prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit to demolish a children's center in Paraul.

The building of the children's center in the village of Paraul, where children were poisoned by carbon monoxide, was built in violation of the law and without permission. The Dagestan prosecutor's office has filed a lawsuit for its demolition.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on February 2, 10 children from a private kindergarten in the village of Paraul, Karabudakhkent District, were hospitalized with carbon monoxide poisoning. Three of the 10 children were later discharged from the hospital. A heating appliance improperly connected to a gas pipeline was identified as the cause of the poisoning. On February 6, all children hospitalized after carbon monoxide poisoning at a kindergarten in the village of Paraul, Karabudakhkent District, Dagestan, were discharged. On February 7, the center where the children were poisoned was sealed, and documents were sent to the court to suspend its operations.

The building of a private childcare center in the village of Paraul was constructed in violation of land and urban planning laws, the Dagestan Prosecutor's Office reported on its official website on February 13.

Also, according to the agency, the one-story building, which was leased by an individual entrepreneur from the owner, was built without permits.

The Prosecutor's Office filed a claim with the Karabudakhkent District Court to ban the use of the building and have it demolished.
