The court arrested two teenagers in connection with the shooting in Anapa.
The Anapa City Court has remanded two minors in custody in connection with the shooting at the Anapa Industrial College – the shooter and the young man who incited him to commit the crime. One of the wounded is in serious condition.
As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on February 11, a security guard was killed and three people were wounded in a shooting near the technical college in Anapa. The shooter, a student, was detained.
The Anapa City Court considered the investigator's petition to select a preventive measure for the young man accused of incitement to commit murder and attempted murder. The criminal case has been classified under several articles, including murder committed in a generally dangerous manner, , the joint press service of the courts of Krasnodar Krai reported today on its Telegram channel.
"The court has ordered the accused to be remanded in custody for one month and 29 days, or until April 11, 2026, inclusive," the statement read.
According to investigators, in November 2025, the teenager told a classmate of his intention to attack an educational institution and kill students. His friend didn't condemn him—on the contrary, he tried his best, supposedly humorously, to convince him to follow through, Mash writes today.
The Anapa City Court also remanded in custody the man accused of attacking the Anapa Industrial College. He is accused of murder, attempted murder of two or more persons, and theft of weapons, the press service reported.
"The Anapa City Court considered the investigator's petition to select a preventive measure against a 17-year-old Anapa resident (...). By the court's decision, the defendant was remanded in custody. The period of detention is two months, until April 11, 2026, inclusive," the statement said.
Both defendants are minors, and therefore the court hearings were held behind closed doors, the press service clarified.
Earlier, the Investigative Committee for Krasnodar Krai opened a criminal case against a 64-year-old man for failing to properly store his firearm, which a 17-year-old student obtained and used to commit crimes.
Today, an employee of an Anapa technical school was found with a gunshot wound. She was transported to a regional hospital; her condition remains serious but stable. The condition of another injured person, a student, is moderate, the Krasnodar Krai task force reported, citing the regional Ministry of Health.
