Aslan Dzhioyev, a resident of the village of Tarskoye, was killed in the combat zone in Ukraine, the Prigorodny District administration reported on its Telegram channel.
No other details about the soldier's biography or death were provided in the publication.
Thus, at least 542 soldiers from North Ossetia have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
The last time soldiers from the Prigorodny District died in the North Ossetian Military District was reported on December 9, 2025. That day, the administration reported the deathof Radik Alborov from the village of Sunzha.
"Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially released by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Airborne Military District Statistics: Casualties Mounting in Southern Russia."
