Air defense forces repelled a drone attack in the Volgograd region, a house in Volzhsky suffered roof damage, a drone crashed on the grounds of a kindergarten, and a factory fire occurred in Volgograd.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the night of January 10, an air strike caused a fire at an oil depot in the Oktyabrsky District of the Volgograd Region. It was extinguished on January 11.

Volgograd Region Governor Andrei Bocharov reported that air defense forces repelled a massive drone attack on energy and civilian infrastructure facilities in the region tonight.

According to the governor, damage to the roof of a building at 75 Karbysheva Street was recorded in the city of Volzhsky, a drone crashed on the grounds of the Yagodka kindergarten, and a fire also broke out at a factory in southern Volgograd.

According to preliminary reports, there are no casualties.

As a reminder, on December 14, 2025, a drone attack in Uryupinsk also resulted in a fire at an oil depot . Residents of houses adjacent to the oil depot were evacuated.

On July 9, 2024, fires broke out at the oil depot in Kalach-on-Don and at the substation in Frolovo after drone debris fell. On the night of February 3, 2024, a fire also broke out at the Volgograd Oil Refinery after a drone fell there.
