A contract soldier from the Astrakhan region was killed in a military operation.
Aslan Dauletov from the Volodar district was killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 700 fighters from the Astrakhan region have been recognized as killed in it.
As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by February 6, at least 699 fighters from the Astrakhan region were officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
Aslan Dauletov, born in 1992, from the village of Trubnoye, was killed in the military operation, the Volodarsky District Administration reported on its Telegram channel on February 4.
"In September 2025, Aslan signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense and was sent to carry out combat missions in the special military zone "In October, he was seriously wounded, but returned to duty after recovery. On January 5, 2026, Aslan Abatovich Dauletov died heroically while carrying out a combat mission," the publication states.
Thus, at least 700 soldiers from the Astrakhan Region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
The death of soldiers from the Volodarsky District was previously reported on January 28. At that time, authorities reported that Dmitry Dryanin and Pavel Nikeshin were killed in the military operation.
"Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially released by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Airborne Military District Statistics: Casualties Mounting in Southern Russia."
State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on Channel One do not guarantee state support for the families of those killed, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Three Comrades Served: How Authorities Are Denying Benefits to Families of Killed Volunteers," which describes the stories of the slain soldiers.
