Two natives of Dagestan are accused of financing terrorism.

The Southern District Military Court has received a case against two Dagestan natives accused of organizing a fundraiser to purchase drones with thermal imaging cameras for the Ukrainian Azov Battalion*.
Two Dagestan natives are accused of organizing the financing of terrorism (Part 4, Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
According to the investigation, in 2022 and 2023, the accused, who are located outside of Russia, created foreign companies that became associate members of an organization recognized as undesirable in Russia, as reported on February 6 The Dagestan Prosecutor's Office reported this on its Telegram channel.
The office notes that the aforementioned natives of the republic created channels on a messaging app and organized a fundraiser to purchase drones with thermal imaging cameras for the Ukrainian Azov Battalion*.
The accused are currently on federal and international wanted lists and have been remanded in absentia. The criminal case has been sent to the Southern District Military Court for trial.
Previously, "Caucasian Knot" reported that in October of last year, it became known that four natives of Dagestan were being held in a Rostov pretrial detention center on terrorism charges. The prosecution claims they were planning to set fire to a military base in Makhachkala in the interests of the Ukrainian Azov Regiment*; the young men call the case fabricated.
