A Makhachkala court has arrested cosmetologist Raisat Algasanova, whose patient suffered serious complications after liposuction. The incident for which Algasanova was arrested is one of many, sources say.
A preventive measure has been chosen for a Makhachkala cosmetologist suspected of providing services that do not meet safety requirements (Part 2 of Article 238 of the Russian Criminal Code), the joint press service of the courts of Dagestan reported today. According to the investigation, from 2022 to 2024, the suspect, not registered with the tax authorities, without a higher medical education in her specialty and a license, provided the services of a private cosmetologist, including surgical interventions, in the premises she rented in the city of Makhachkala.
The reason for initiating the criminal case was the appeal of the victim, on whom the suspect performed liposuction in 2023, after which complications arose.
The suspect admits that she provided certain services without the appropriate license to a specific patient, denying the accusations circulated on social networks regarding other women, assuming that these are the machinations of competitors.
Having considered the investigator's petition, the court ruled to choose a preventive measure against the suspect in the form of detention for a period of 2 months, that is, until April 6, 2026, the court says. message.
The arrested woman is Raisat Algasanova, writes Sapa Kavkaz. One of the patients, Bariyat, said she created a chat for those who suffered from the cosmetologist. It has about 15 members. Some of the girls developed sepsis, necrosis, and abscesses. According to her, one of the patients died in Chechnya.
