Gurgen Grigoryan, a native of Abkhazia who served in the Russian army, was killed in the Russian military operation zone in Ukraine.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on December 1, it became known that Batal Bigvava, a native of Abkhazia who served in the Russian army, was killed in the Russian military operation zone in Ukraine.

The press service of the President of Abkhazia announced Gurgen Grigoryan's funeral today on its website.

"The farewell to the volunteer was held in the village of Parnaut in the Gulrypsh district. Vice President Beslan Bigvava, Prime Minister Vladimir Delba, and members of the government also took part in the ceremony," the press service said.
