Eight people have been arrested for a massive drifting and shooting in Ingushetia.

In Ingushetia, the identities of the wedding party members who staged a massive drifting event and fired automatic weapons near a federal highway have been identified.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", a video circulated on social media showing several luxury cars drifting on the roadway during the day, while other car owners fired into the air, including from automatic weapons.

While monitoring the internet, police discovered publications containing a video showing approximately 20 cars at a gas station in Yandar and unknown individuals firing small arms into the air. BMW and Mercedes drivers also engaged in a massive drifting incident there, Interfax reports, citing law enforcement agencies in the republic.

"A notice was issued for the violators across the North Caucasus Federal District, resulting in the identification and transport of eight participants, including the owners and drivers of luxury cars. Administrative reports were filed against those detained. The cars were transported to the Nazran District Department of Internal Affairs," the agency reports, citing law enforcement officials.

It was established that the shooting originated from a Mercedes-Benz. A Nazran resident, who was driving the vehicle, has been charged with an administrative offense. A blank-firing weapon was seized from the car and sent for examination. A 25-year-old Muscovite is suspected of the shooting, and other individuals involved in the violation are being identified, the agency clarifies.

Previously, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that the clergy of Ingushetia had imposed fines for long wedding processions. If the bride's procession includes more than four cars or its participants drive recklessly, the wedding organizer will have to donate up to 50,000 rubles to the poor, the Ingush clergy has ruled.
