The Electoral Commission announced Slyusar's victory in the Rostov Region gubernatorial elections
Acting Governor of Rostov Oblast Yuri Slyusar won the election, gaining 81.25% of the vote.
As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, Acting Governor of Rostov Oblast Yuri Slyusar ("United Russia") is leading the regional head election with 96.33% of the vote, the Central Election Commission reported on the evening of September 14 after processing 0.47% of the protocols.
From September 12 to 14, municipal elections were held in the regions of southern Russia, and gubernatorial elections were also held in Rostov Oblast and Krasnodar Krai. After the start of voting, candidates reported ballot stuffing and falsifications during home voting. Recall, Yuri Slyusar has held the status of acting governor since November 2024. Before that, he was the CEO of the United Aircraft Corporation, part of Rostec, and the CEO of PJSC Sukhoi.
