The head of the Investigative Committee ordered a report on the violation of the rights of students of a general education institution in Dagestan.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, residents of the Dagestani village Gyukhryag complained about the state of the school. The school in the village has been declared unsafe, and students are forced to study in rented buildings that lack basic amenities.

According to the Investigative Committee, "social media reports indicate that the general education institution in the village of Rukel in the Derbent District does not have hot or cold water, and that the school's food service is disrupted."

Earlier, a video published by the Telegram channel "Pearl of the South," which has 18,000 subscribers, was distributed on social networks. The video shows an unfenced flooded sports ground and slanted equipment near the rented school building.

The video is accompanied by the comment: "in the village of Nizhny Rukel in the Derbent District, a school has been flooded. The school building is currently rented. The village does not have its own public school. Students have to wade through huge puddles to get to school. The sports ground is flooded. According to the villagers, this situation occurs after any rain." By 21:30, the post had garnered 2,913 views.

The investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan have opened a criminal case under Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence) on this fact., the Investigative Committee of Dagestan reports on its Telegram channel.

Earlier, "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote that residents of several districts of the republic are demandingto build new school buildings or repair dilapidated buildings in which their children are forced to study.
