As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, on August 30, after a drone attack, a fire broke out at the Krasnodar oil refinery. On the same day, it was extinguished.
"UAV debris" fell on the territory of the Ilsky oil refinery in the Seversky district, the Kuban operational headquarters reported today on its Telegram channel.
"As a result, one of the process units caught fire. The fire, covering an area of several square meters, was quickly extinguished," the report says.
There are no casualties, the authorities said. "Fire and rescue teams, special and emergency services are working at the site. The refinery personnel have been evacuated to shelters," the report says.
Recall that there have been multiple incidents involving drone attacks at the oil refinery in the village of Ilsky. Thus, on July 7, authorities reported that the wreckage of a drone fell onto the territory of one of the process shops. There was no damage to the equipment that day.
In February 2024, a fire broke out at the enterprise, and it was reported that a drone had fallen onto the plant. On May 5, 2023, a fire also broke out at the same plant after a drone attack.
