Bastrykin took an interest in the case of the attack on a resident of Sabnova

The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia has requested a report from Dagestani investigators on the investigation into the violent death of a resident of the village of Sabnova and the verification of evidence from social media posts.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, residents of the village of Sabnova in the Derbent district demanded that the case of an attack on their fellow villager, who died from stab wounds, be reclassified as murder. The investigation reported the detention of one teenager, although two attackers are visible on the crime scene camera. The second, according to the villagers, was released by law enforcement.

Alexander Bastrykin instructed the acting head of the Investigative Committee of Dagestan to report on the progress of the investigation into the criminal case of the death of a resident of the Derbent district, who died after being stabbed by a teenager.

The department's report notes that the crime is dedicated to publications in social media. The head of the Dagestan department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation was also ordered to report to the leadership about the investigation "based on the arguments of the publication," according to the Telegram channel of the federal Investigative Committee.

The crime in the village of Sabnova is being actively discussed in social networks. The crime, as noted by the VGTRK correspondent in Dagestan Sarkar Magomedov, "is striking in its savagery and absurdity."

“A 22-year-old guy, as they say from the scene, simply made a remark to the teenagers so that they would not swear and not litter under the windows of houses. In response, a 16-year-old stabbed him. The guy died. The only child in the family. A young life was cut short and the fates of his parents were forever crippled (...) Looking at such tragedies as in Sabnovo, you understand that for murderers, human life is worth absolutely nothing,” the journalist wrote on his Telegram channel.
