Dagestan authorities named 13 soldiers killed in Ukraine
Ibragim Kurbanov, Ferezulla Veliev, Amirali Bayramov and ten more soldiers from the Tabasaran region were killed in the fighting. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, the authorities have named at least 1,540 combatants from Dagestan killed there.
As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, by September 3, the authorities and security forces recognized at least 1,527 fighters from Dagestan as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.
On September 3, the head of Tabasaran Magomed Kurbanov made public 13 names of killed soldiers from Dagestan, reporting on the opening of memorial plaques in various schools in the region.
Ibrahim Kurbanov, a graduate of the Khuchni profile lyceum No. 1, was killed in June 2024, according to the information on the board. Ferezulla Veliyev and Magomed Gadzhiev were graduates of the Kurkak school, Magomed Magomedov, killed in April 2025, studied at the school in the village of Khanag, Artur Aliyev - at the Gelinbatan school.
Amirali Bayramov, Gusenali Zulfikarov, Shamil Abdulazizov and Nazim Akhmedkhanov are graduates of the Firgil, Sirtych, Chulat and Tsukhtig schools, respectively, according to a publication on the official Telegram channel of the head of the municipality. The murdered Nazim Radjabov graduated from the Kurek school, Abumuslim Alimuradov studied at the school in the village of Yagdyg.
Ramis Kaziakhmedov, according to the information on the memorial plaque in the Tinite school, was killed in October 2024 at the age of 60. Nazim Gadzhikurbanov graduated from Darvag school No. 2.
Thus, officials publicly acknowledged that at least 1,540 servicemen from Dagestan were killed on the Ukrainian front.
