Sochi airport resumed operations

One plane was sent to an alternate airfield during the period of restrictions on the operation of the Sochi airport. At the Volgograd airport, restrictions on the receipt and release of aircraft remain.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, last night Rosaviatsiya introduced restrictions on the receipt and release of aircraft at the airports of Volgograd and Sochi, citing a threat to flight safety.

The restrictions on the receipt and release of flights at the Sochi airport, introduced earlier tonight, have been lifted, said Rosaviatsiya press secretary Artem Korenyako. "During the period of restrictions, one plane "left" for an alternate airfield," he wrote in his Telegram channel at 2.20 Moscow time.

Rosaviatsiya has not yet reported on the lifting of restrictions at the Volgograd airport. At the same time, the authorities of two regions of the North Caucasus warned residents about the threat of unmanned aerial vehicles at about 2:00 Moscow time: in Stavropol, the message was distributed by the governor of the region, Vladimir Vladimirov, through the official Telegram channel, and in Dagestan, the republican department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations announced the threat of a UAV attack after 2:15 Moscow time.

"If possible, stay at home, take shelter in a room with solid walls, do not go near windows (...) There may be interruptions in mobile Internet," the publication of the Dagestan Ministry of Emergency Situations says.
