Volgograd airport has suspended operations

For security purposes, Rosaviatsia has introduced temporary restrictions on the operation of the Volgograd airport.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, the last time the operation of the Volgograd airport was restricted was at 04:29 Moscow time on August 31. The ban was in effect for just over two hours.

Restrictions on the entry and exit of aircraft were temporarily introduced at the Volgograd airport around midnight.

"Restrictions are necessary to ensure flight safety," said Rosaviatsia representative Artem Korenyako in his Telegram channel at 23:58 Moscow time on August 31.

Note that on the night of August 31, air defense systems on duty disarmed 21 unmanned aerial vehicles over Russian regions. Of these, 19 were shot down in the south, including 11 in the skies over the Volgograd region.
