The Krasnodar Regional Court sentenced a resident of the Timashevsky District, whose name is not specified, to 13 years and 1 month in a case of treason, the United Press Service of the Courts of the Krasnodar Territory reported on its Telegram channel.
According to the investigation, in June 2024, "being an opponent of a special military operation, the defendant established contact with the Security Service of Ukraine and agreed to carry out the tasks of the curator," in particular, to transmit information about the location of military facilities of the Russian Federation. The 46-year-old resident of the Timashevsky District was found guilty of transmitting information about the locations of air defense facilities to an SBU representative. A criminal case was opened under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The man fully admitted his guilt in committing the criminal acts incriminated to him, the court claims. The man was sentenced to 13 years and 1 month of imprisonment, with a restriction of freedom for 1 year. The convicted person must serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony. The sentence has not entered into legal force, the press service summarizes.
