11 rural houses damaged after drone attack in Rostov region
A state of emergency has been declared in the village of Novobessergenevka in the Rostov Region, where 11 private homes were damaged as a result of a drone attack. According to the authorities, no residents were injured.
As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, on the evening of August 25, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that eight drones had been shot down over the territory of the Rostov Region. In Novoshakhtinsk, after a drone attack on the night of August 21, a fire broke out at an industrial enterprise; on August 24, it became clear that we are talking about the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery. This morning, Acting Governor Yuri Slyusar reported that the fire has been extinguished.
The drone attack on the night of August 26 affected the Millerovsky, Chertkovsky, Tarasovsky, Kasharsky and Neklinovsky districts of the Rostov region, in the latter municipality there is destruction, Acting Governor Yuri Slyusar reported this morning.
“The main thing is that no one was hurt. The municipal commission will record the damage today. We will provide assistance to residents,” he wrote.
The head of the Neklinovsky district Vasily Danilenko, in turn, reported that a state of emergency has been declared in the village of Novobessergenevka, which “will allow us to provide financial assistance” to the victims. According to the official, 11 houses were within the boundaries of the emergency zone, most of them had broken windows.
“Doors, walls and roofs were damaged in several houses. In one of the houses, a wall and roof were partially destroyed, a car was damaged,” Danilenko’s Telegram channel said in a message.
